Maybe this has been discussed before and I missed it, but are there any stores out west that has a bunch of different quality boots? Like Lowa, Kenetrek, Schnees or others? I'd like to buy a high quality pair of boots but it would be nice to try some on before I buy them.
Can someone explain how to get the nonresident quotas? When I look at the recap summaries, it looks like there are columns for "Gen, Lown, Nres and Yth." There are always numbers under gen and Lown but for Nres and Yth it is always a 0. Thanks....
Thanks guys for the input. I'm going to try jogging tomorrow and if they feel good, I think ill try running this weekend. If it hurts though im not going to push it and will sit the race out.
So in January, I decided to sign up for a half marathon on the hope that I'd draw an elk tag this fall and that way I'd be in good shape. Well I drew the tag which is good but the race is this Sunday and now I've got shin splints. I haven't run in the last 10 days and have been icing them...
I always treat it. Honestly I'm a bit surprised to hear how many people dont treat it. I mean if it works for you then great, but i thought it was a matter of WHEN you would get sick, not IF you would get sick, if you didnt treat your water.
I'm still trying to decide on whether or not to build points for pronghorn in CO. Seems like a guy could go to Wyoming every 3-4 years instead and have a good hunt. Anyone else on the fence?
