Not going to lie this is a little depressing. I purchased a Kylmit Static V Luxe insulated last year. The rating on the packaging was 5+, I’ve been seeing through independent studies that the Static V line is no where near what it claims in R value.
I had similar concerns prior to purchasing a Marsupial gear bino harness. Due to string angle there isn't any interference the harness. I really like using a harness now that I have one and don't see a reason to ditch it in the future.
I have the Njord set. I’ve only been able to wear the entire set once and that was for late season archery. I’ve used the jacket for in the stand, however it’s not very packable IMO. A puffy much better suits that role, however they aren’t as quite.
I’ve found the Njord set to be extremely...
Our 7 year old Golden Retriever has been on Orijen since we picked him up at 12 weeks for his entire life minus 4 months that we tried Acana. I have no complaints with it other then it is pricey. I wanted to try Acana for him in order to save a few dollars, however by bag number 3 or 4 he quite...
I’ve had it happen before on the highway but typically always related to black ice and being in rwd. Like you’ve said weird feeling when it’s happening as you don’t notice it at first.
Most jacked up situation I had was as a 17 year old. We had an ice storm come through when I was visiting a...
I've bought Kryptek stuff on sale and have been generally happy with what I use. Valhalla during early to mid season with adding in merino base and next year will have a mid layer as well to squeeze more out of the system. I purchased the Njord system when it was first released and while I like...
I bought my kids the Lane Walker series. I haven’t read them personally but they all seemed to really enjoy the books and tore through fairly quickly.

I’ve had a ZT 0350 in my left front pocket for close to 10 years at this point. Every other knife I’ve tried hasn’t been able to compare for me. It’s been rock solid and can handle the abuse I put it through.
Another option is to switch to a lighter weight arrow. I’m assuming this is primarily for 3D and a lighter arrow that still flies well would also give you added range.
As stated bringing the sight closer to the riser will also help increase your yardage.
I switched to merino year round probably 4-5 years ago. I’ll vary the thickness of sock depending on the season, but also don’t have much of an issue wearing my thicker ones in the summer. I’ve even switched my sneaker socks over to Merino and don’t see a reason to switch. I may not be...
Also an EXO user saddle hunter. I bought the 4800 last year and intended to purchase a smaller bag for day hunts. I haven't done that and just compress down the 4800 instead. I've actually found that sliding the platform between the frame and the bag is a great option for carrying in and out...
