Call me crazy but how do you start a business that offers free services? I know most businesses operate at a loss at first but to collect no income at all seems a little skeptical to be writing stuff off with.

“Don’t need more than a 6.5 Creedmore”. Haha we got one this year and so far loving it. Spot your own shots at any distance and if you do your part will take an elk out to 500. Don’t expect what you shoot to be DRT but they definitely won’t go far. We killed 3 deer with this gun last week. The...
Rbros rifles puts out an incredible product. Great customer service and will keep you up on everything throughout the build process.

Absolutely nothing weird about that. Both are two great cartridges. I have killed many deer with a 243 and 30-06 has probably killed more game than any other round out there, or atleast in the top 3.

It all depends on preference. I run the MOAT-T on my rigs. My buddy who hunts in similar conditions runs the MOAR.
The T is harder to through up and shoot a quick shot with. The reticle is not easy to pickup quickly. I have found that part of my shot process for a quick shot is to turn on the...
3 inches is roughly going to cost you 75 FPS. A good rule of thumb is about 25 FPS per inch. Shot placement will be key with the 6.5 CM, it can absolutely kill elk at shorter distances with a well placed shot.

I have been running the 8 man for 3 years and I would recommend it for 3 guys. We did 4 for a week in Idaho last year and it was cozy. The 8 man is roomy but if you have bad weather by the time you get pack, sleeping setup, weapon, stove, Wood and cooking stuff it gets tight quick. I have done...
I run a 6.5 creedmore for deer and short range elk and a 300 WM for longer range big critters. If I were hunting big bodied mule deer and elk for the most part I would probably just run a 300 WM. The problem is it is a little too much gun for the little blacktail we have on the west coast...
Basically every scope manufacturer makes scopes with subtension lines in one way or another. Leupold makes a Boone and Crockett model which would be similar to your 300 Wby if I remember correctly. The other option is as you brought up above is a scope with MOA subtension lines. You can write on...
Being you posted in a long range forum I am assuming you are using it for long range. My vote is yes depending upon what you consider heavy barreled. While at closer ranges you probably won’t be able to spot your own hits, when you start using the that caliber to its potential at long distances...

Do you use trekking poles? I usually have a spotter setup on my tripod so I don’t use a tripod for shooting. If I can’t lay down prone I limit my shots to closer ranges. Again it takes a ton of practice to make clean long range hits from a seated position. While the definition of long range is...
Bipod and prone with a rear bag. Yes I pack a rear bag with me hunting. While shooting long range at a seated position can be done with great success in a target situation I don’t feel it is the best in a hunting situation. Read the bipod review here on Rokslide and find one that fits your...
Your data proves what a lot of guys have come to realize and that is a 130 with more velocity stays neck and neck with the 140 until you get way out there. If I’m planning on shooting anything at over 900 yards (where the 140 really starts to outperform) I’m going to be shooting a larger...
