New Bow Hunter in AZ seeking guidance.
No experience with PSE but Bull Basin is a great pro-shop, little pricey but definitely worth the money to get you all set up with a new bow. I'm down at Huachuca, but haven't hunted mulies so can't help you there. There are tons of coues deer down here on post if you wanted to get into that. -
New KUIU pieces
According to the Kuiu blogs they are in fact working on a quix down sleeping bag. Hopefully the price tag isn't outrageous on it. -
Wet / Cold weather prep.
I'm about to embark on an elk hunt this weekend and its calling for rain/snow with barely above freezing temps during the day and teens at night. Any issues with bow getting wet all day and freezing at night? -
Which B-stinger??
I've been happy with my 8" w/ 8oz. 12oz was too much for me and 4 didn't stabilize enough for me. I experimented with a bother stab that was 10" and it was just too much. Keep in mind I mostly mountain hunt and I'm glad I have the shorter 8". Wish I could go shorter but it affects my groups... -
Longrange spotting scope help!
Luke and fellow sheep hunters....how much better are the 85's than the 60's in terms of judging rams from long distance (miles) and shorter distances 1000yds or less. One of these days I will invest in better glass and for the majority of alaska hunting I don't see as much use in better binos... -
Thumb release or index finger

Thumb release or index finger
I've never shot a thumb release. Does it increase difficulty of drawing any? I would imagine its just something to get used to as with my strap release I pull without engaging any muscles in my hand since it is attached to my wrist. Any difficult with pulling the release while having to use... -
Blisters!
Forget the socks man those shoes are worn out. Those things are only supposed to get like 3-400 miles out of them.
