The 2013 Tournament Season is about to begin! On January 26 & 27, 2013 @ Bill Pellegrino's Archery Hut, the Rocky Mountain Archery Association will hold the All-In Vegas 450. Shoot times for Sat. are 9am, 12pm, and 3pm. Go to the web site, www.rockymountainarcheryassoc.com, to register...
I have also set-up MANY of the Limbdriver and Pro-V rests while working at the Shop, and this is an issue that we have seen, though not with great regularity. Limbdriver has been good about repairing any rest that has not been abused. For me personally, I'm also on the Hamskea Versa Rest band...
Justin, take Jeremy up on his offer. Like him, I have the Versa Rest on both my Hunting and Target rigs. I have had nothing but great luck with the rest, and will have it on my set-up's from now on.
I was in the Shop with Evan when the Crispi Rep. showed up. These boots look sweet! If your in the market for a high end boot, this boot needs to be in the conversation. Look them up!
Due to the dry conditions, the Columbine Range has been shut down until further notice. As you all know, this was to be the site for the RMAA Field Showdown. Your BOD has been busy working on contingency plans. As it stands right now, the Field Showdown will move to the Academy Archery Club...
The 4th and Final Event in the RMAA 3D Series will be held this Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the Columbine Range in Sedalia, CO. Many of the divisions are very close for the Overall, so this will be a very important shoot for those shooting for the beautiful buckles that the RMAA offers for the...
On an over-the-counter hunt, I'll shoot a 5 pt or better. On the couple of "trophy" tags I have had, I have passed up some decent bulls looking for what I had in mind. I really depends on the situation. If your in an area that only produces smaller bulls, you had better be shootin'! If you...
The main thing to remember with the Burner is to keep shooting it. The spiral cam requires you to be diligent with your shooting. I have spirals on a Burner as well as on my Vantage Elite Plus. I also short posted my Matrix RKT to give it more of a spiral feel. That short valley makes you...
I have had two sheep tags so far. My first tag I was running a PSE Carbon Force 300, weighing about 370 grains. The one thing you can count on, is that wind will blow in sheep country! My one shot opportunity with that first tag, I watched the wind blow my arrow a good two feet over that ram...
The Droptine will absolutely fit on a Scott strap, if you feel the need to change it out. You'll have a hard time beating the quality and performance of this release.
Spot Hogg all the way. It sounds like one of your favorite features of the AXT sight is the Opti-fade. Not a reason to choose a sight. I don't think the AXT is junk, but it isn't nearly as rugged as a Spot Hogg. I'm with Evan, I like the Hunter models for the second and third axis adjustability.
