I would personally rather buy a grade ranch foal at 6 months old, one that has been handled, haltered, tied, loaded into a trailer, and grown up in a large open ranch pasture with creeks, trails, hills, etc. I personally don’t see the need for papers in working horses and hunting hounds...
Earths Catastrophe Past by Andrew Snelling and several books by Henry Morris go into great detail about the biblical flood, fossil record. It was global in nature and these fossil records are present not only in Montana, North America, but in Russia to Australia. They all point to a young earth...
Has or does anyone shoot or hunt with a Traditions Hawkins percussion rifle? I’m looking at purchasing one for a elk hunt and plan to get comfortable shooting out to 150 yards. Open to suggestions. I currently have a TC New Englander but want something with a longer barrel. It seems really well...
Secondly, don’t use dead rabbits for drags, unless you want a rabbit/hare hound. Fresh dead coons, or wet live ones as the pup gets older. You can ruin a hound by letting him get turned up by a nasty coon. Best of luck
It’s almost impossible to buy a full trained hound for coon, bobcat, and/or lion for 2000k. It would cost more like $7000, and no one would be willing to part with a fully trained hound unless they were going through a divorce, bankruptcy, family problems, etc. You friend that has the Bluetick...
I’ve hunted in western Montana for 9 seasons as a resident and 3/4 as a nonresident. It’s really hard to plan around. I seen -20s (actual temperature on the 4th day of rifle season) to 60s in mid November. In 2019 we had snow on the pronghorn opener in extreme SE Montana on Oct 10th. I would...
How are the middle tier units draw for residents? Looking at the statistics it appears units in public land have an average draw success. I agree with less than 6% of the nonresident tag allocation would make for a difficult.
Our little filly’s have grown up and have continued to be great horses. The only thing we can really do with them is lead them on trails, light ponying, swinging ropes, pads, etc around them. It will be another year before we can ride them, but will continue the desensitization process. The red...
We aren’t a bunch of pussies. Anyone that thinks that please speak for yourself. I love my family, and my land and I could round up a fairly large well equipped militia in about two days by showing up a construction site, pipeline yard, lineman local, etc and explain our country is being attack...
What kind of boots do you recommend? I really like this idea, bc we mostly just trim ours and go barefoot, but want something for water crossings, Rocky, ice/snow covered areas. I’ve heard that a lot of endurance rides use boots, that should tell us something…..Thank you
