    6.5 PRC velocity and barrel length?

    My velocity with the factory hornady ammunition is a little low, but I’ve only got 1 box of ammo through it so far. It should speed up over the next few boxes.

    I have a 6.5 PRC built off a Tikka action. 24 inch HCA carbon barrel. It chronographs an average of 2900 FPS with factory Hornady 147 ELD-M ammunition. It’s an absolute hammer on game.
