Had this happen to me and my buddy, Went out to the ridge we wanted to scout then noticed once we made the top there were 2 hunters below us struggling to make it to the top. Helped them up to the top and let them have the ridge since we had other areas we wanted to check and they were out of...
Any of you guys have experience with the Cabela's Pro series DC Grinder? its only .5 HP but in my budget. Trying to see if that will get me through a couple of seasons before needing to upgrade. Got my first bear this year that I want to turn into burger and maybe some sausage.
New spot had no one then the day we were leaving had 4-6 cars can’t remember but majority were CO with 2 being out of state. we did run into a couple out of state hunters on trail that parked at a different area.
pre season scouting helps but also don't be afraid if their aren't animals in that area yet. You could be in their migration route and they could just pass through an area to get to summer/winter feeding areas.
I kinda just ball out and find out the hard way if something doesn’t work. Not the best solution but at the same time life is busy at the moment. That being said I give myself back up solutions in the form of extra gear in the truck if it’s something crucial. This is also the advice of a young...
Yeah, and it being a glomitt would you consider wearing another glove underneath for more dexterity? My buddy has the glomitts and really only uses them for early morning glassing where you aren’t moving and it’s freezing outside.
I have the Yukon gloves and I have them in a large and they fit snug. I am in between a medium in finger length and large in the circumference and decided to go bigger rather then smaller and I am glad I did. Finger length is good for me as well so if anything the gloves might run small but this...
I saved $100 on a rain jacket, can’t beat that. I think I have seen the attack pants go on sale before but it’s always hard to predict what will go on sale. I upgraded the rain jacket I was going to get since the cheaper one didn’t go on sale making the more expensive one cheaper due to the sale.
Only tents I have seen in the woods have been from those remote workers who overland. Non of them looked like hunters to me. I do agree with OP though, I feel like people will get in before they cant next year.
Curious about OPs condition. I had 2 hernias when I was younger and honestly didn't know I even had them. Both were in the lower groin area and one was "popping" out of my abdominal wall. It never kept me from working or lifting.
Hypothetically, what if the wolf herd moves into the park, pushes all the elk out, people stop visiting the park because no more animals, lost all that income on some hope for wolves.
$23.08 to get a reprint since it hasn’t been the full 14 business days since ship date. Oh well. At least I have my pronghorn tag now. Lessons learned for next year
Thank you all for this info, the wife is keeping an eye out for me but I might have to get a reprint for antelope since that season is now. Might not hurt to have all of them reprinted so I am covered.
Makes sense but I remember getting my tags before Antelope opener last year and here we are 4 days after and still nothing. Bought them morning of leftover.
