Good to know. Swfa does seem a bit sketchy almost on how little there is out there. I’ll keep an eye on the classifieds for one of the others. Several NFs right now, just all happen to be MOA

So after all the advice I’ve been searching the classifieds and interwebs pretty heavy. I’ve found a few options but several are really pushing my budget. Seems like
Tenmile ~ 1200ish
Nf shv ~ 1200 again. Maybe 1000 if one pops up used.
Or I found a swfa ss hd for about 800.
Is the 400...
Yeah I got stupid lucky with the gun. My father in laws mom worked for him. Got it for years of service. Then I got it because he doesn’t hunt.

I noticed a few in there. Like I said, just seem like a kind of secretive brand. But what I do hear seems to all be good.

So what’s the deal with swfa? I’ve seen them but just seems like there’s so little info out there on them. And is their website the only place you can buy them?

Leupold isn’t bad. I’m just wondering if there’s higher end glass out there that isn’t as main stream. I don’t want to settle for an ok scope notch it has a big name on it if I could get something no one has heard of and it be top notch.

Ok I’ve been here done this but I just can’t make a decision. Quick catch up. I own a NULA(the OG one, not after they went to crap) in 30-06. I live in WV but hunt west once a year. I’m not a “long range” guy. I’d like to get comfortable out to 4-600 at targets. I’ve been practicing at 300...
Yeah this is my concern. Seems to be a lot of talk on here lately about vortex relying too much on their warranty and not just building quality. Don’t get me wrong, I love my Binos and spotter from them, but if they crap out mid hunt I can survive, scope, not so much.

Never had one I can twist knobs on so not sure. I figure if I have it, cool I can try it out and maybe use it. If I don’t like it, it’s not hurting anything. However I’ve been in situations for sure that I had the time to take and dial, and I like the idea of knowing I can hold dead on and be...
