6’6” as well. Run a WM antelope. It is a little tight as I’m broad shouldered and 265lbs but dang it’s toasty. And have a kelty 20 degree in a long tthat works great as well. I have plenty of room in it and would prob fit someone a couple inches taller than me easily.
I wish they would make a run of fusions in 270 wsm. My gun loves em. Talked with them at sheep show and they said a run of all short mags should be coming this spring.
Kyrgyzstan. I went through Neal and brownlee. And would use them again for sure. Was very happy with everything on the hunt.
Yeah, def not the same guy. When I go to pick the ibex up I’m taking the goat with me and he’s gonna look at it and said he can prob fix it.
A year and a half later and my ibex is done. Think it looks awesome. Can’t pick it up yet as he asked if he could use it in his booth for a trade show. But stoked so far.
There you could shoot further than you can possibly imagine. Where I was there were no trees whatsoever. So HUGE distances from what I saw. Saw a group of billies at well over 1,000 yards. Got to 700 and dropped down a ravine and back up to within 300 yards. I shot a tikka 270wsm with 130 grain...
No experience on Tajik or Mongolia. Did kyrg and highly suggest it. Booking agent I went through said Mongolia was more low land rolling mountains. Where kyrg was big scree style mountains. And I believe kyrg was significantly cheaper but don’t quote me on that. And I think kyrg has bigger billies.
