I own a female chessie who isnt much different. She hates working with other dogs, gets possessive about ducks, and also likes to piss all over everything she thinks is hers. But she is the most driven, hard hunting dog I've ever been around. And yet she is smothering in her love of her...
They're moderately warm. Not sure how cold of temperatures you would be looking to use them in, but I've found they're good to about -20 C. From about -12 to -20 my hands will get cold unless I'm active. I also wasn't a fan of how difficult they are to slide on if your hands are at all wet...
Considering these civilization did not recognize or even know about christianity it is different. They would have believed that their religious beliefs were responsible for their ideas of right and wrong. Just because someone believes a different religion doesn't mean they're wrong. And the...
Actually it is very easy. The earliest coded laws still in existence come from Sumeria (now modern day Iraq) from approximately 2000 BC. Their code of Ur-Nammu provided codified laws for the crimes of murder, assault, theft, etc. Pre-Christianity European civilizations (e.g. Rome, Greece...
I've gone through a number of bino harnesses. Tried Kuiu, Sitka, FHF, marsupial gear and AGC. I had settled on the AGC. My dad settled on my AGC, so I'm back looking for a new bino harness now. My main complaints with the FHF, kuiu and marsupial gear was the opening that would result in a...
I did try the curved (wood and composite) stays with my Kifaru and they did not work for me. Although I suspect having the belt not stay in place would also have influenced that.
Started shooting with a Stan perfex blackout a while ago. I've been very impressed with it, still switch over to a back tension release on occasion just to keep me honest.
I had a kifaru fulcrum with a 26 inch duplex tactical frame, and currently have a SG sky talus 6900. The build quality of the kifaru was unreal, the nalgene holster was nice, but unfortunately it just didn't fit me. I found the belt to be floppy and not real supportive. The lumbar pad really...
I tried both, and didn't like the straight spotter. Looking up with a straight spotter resulted in some neck fatigue for me. I didn't find that there was a significant difference in getting on target with either scope.
I'll join the MSI parade. I bought one while I was in grad school even though I'm not a gamer. It was just able to burn through heavy stats programs like SIAR better than other laptops. I've beat the crap out of my MSI and it's been bulletproof.
I had a similar issue when I tried a Kifaru pack. Prior to buying it I had been involved in a collision while riding my bike to work. Someone pulled out of an alley and I slammed into their front fender and went over the handlebars landing on their hood. My sacrum/iliac crest area on my right...
