My buddies 6.5cm with factory 143eldx
9 rounds with my Tikka .223 and factory ammo. The 10th round is the one to the right. The gun fell off my tripod head on that shot.
@mxgsfmdpx good to know. Also, not a fan of waiting 100-200 rounds for a barrel to be worth a crap. I think my dad bought 100 rounds of the ammo so we’ll shoot all of it this weekend and see if it gets better.
I just had a tikka 22-250 re chambered to 22cm for my dad. Only have 20 rounds through it so far but the factory hornady 80eldx ammo doesn’t look promising in this gun so far. It would shoot two shots about 1/2” then throw one anywhere from 1 1/2” to almost 4”. The 15 round group was like 6”...

From WTO:
Dave,
After your action has been set up for the switchlug we keep a record of those measurements in house so you would no longer need to send in the action, unless you need to get a different bolt.
I’ll get an exact answer from WTO but I don’t believe so. They have all the info on my setup and should be able to get it to headspace correctly without.
I had read where it’s supposed to be within 1/2 moa after taking a barrel off and on. I wanted to test it to see myself, plus I feel like it’s important if anyone is going to be shooting longer distances. So far, I haven’t needed to move the scope a single click. Definitely need a bigger sample...
I kicked around the idea of putting together a WTO switchlug setup for about two years. After reading everything I could find and talking to guys on here I pulled the trigger at the end of January. I had WTO do all the work. I went with a tikka action, two matching PBB 20” barrels, one in 22cm...
Couldn’t get the Staball 6.5 to group like I wanted so I went back to H4350. 39gr averaged 3100 over 8 shots with the 88 ELDM and a 20” barrel. Shot this 10 round group at 100 tonight.
I’ll say this. The first 40-50 rounds had me a little nervous. I couldn’t get the 88’s to shoot very well...
Let my 4 1/2 year old paint my stock (with a touch of guidance). Base is C-111 and then some florescent orange and the somewhat darker area is some rust-oleum textured paint. I was hoping it would show up darker but who cares. My kid had fun and we can change it anytime.
