I feel like once you get into the multi thousand dollar hunts especially if the company is owned by your guide it just seems like nonsense to be tilling over a grand.

It’s fine, I noticed I was cheating some previously but it has made the actual shot more solid I think and I no longer think about the technique change. I may switch my PRS gun to a flat rider now too, even though it’s so heavy I doubt it’s wanting to climb as much from recoil anyway...
The great thing about 270/308/3006 for whitetail under 250 yards is it just doesn’t matter.
Anything soft point/hunting/soft enough to break up in some way will work.
