It’s just so odd to hear such vastly different views on the glass. When someone is talking about swaro, Zeiss, etc the descriptions are never so at odds.
Is it a sample variation? What’s the issue?
I’m really playing with the idea of Revics and pairing them with either the swaro atc or Kowa. Those spotters have a big enough fov to do general glassing. It would be a good lightweight combo for my style.
The only thing holding me back from the revics is glass quality.
I’m in the market for new binos and I’m having a hard time convincing myself to get anything other than alpha glass.
I'm going to be adding an arca rail to my rifle. Weight isn't that big of a concern but I'm looking at either the 4" or 6" rail from SRS. Is the 4" to limiting in terms of positioning? I don't want to go any longer than 6" on this gun.
Not only that but there are many instances of Leupolds, and others, failing without any kind of fall involved.
People only focus on the falling, or dropping portion, but too many instances of failing to rtz after dialing or just losing/wandering zero with no abuse to the scope.
Good video, thanks for posting. As I stated earlier in this thread, my dad has ALWAYS used leupold scopes. His 6.5-284 wasn’t shooting as well as he thought it should and it was topped with a vx5. About 7 months ago he put a different brand on there, and just like your video showed, his groups...
Here’s the problem though. How many of those millions are capable shooters to even detect a change in zero? How many of those millions are actually having to zero a rifle every year and just consider it a normal routine that it has to be adjusted from last year?
Capable shooters with capable...
My entire hunting life I’ve used Leupolds because that’s what dad used and bought.
I still have one vx5 on a 300wm that has seemed to be durable. That 300wm is a browning Xbolt shooting 215 Bergers and is extremely accurate. I let a friend use that gun during this past deer season and as we...
Thank you to all the past veterans and those currently serving! This country will never be able to repay your sacrifices but there are millions of us who truly appreciate what you have done for our country. Thank you!
If you turn in the roads/trails layer it will show roads that are open with a white line with purple dashes. If you click on that road it will also show dates it’s open.
My question is does that mean it’s open to public travel even if it’s on private? The road is accessed off a public road but...
I doubt things in CA will change anytime soon but the amount of red that appeared during the election this year was impressive. Hopefully you guys can keep moving in that direction.
Same here. Each box has a piece of tape on it that we mark with a sharpie and on the reloading bench we have old plastic yogurt tubs with the corresponding number of shots they get dumped into.
Why spend $4,000 on a new custom when you have a rifle, at least by the one group shown, that shoots as good as a custom would shoot (or better)?
Put your current setup in a new stock and it will most likely continue to shoot well. It’s kind of like the adage….don’t leave elk to go find elk.
Thanks for your service!
It’s a great country where we all get an opinion.
Trump is not perfect but I do think his policies will be exactly what we need at this point in time.
