it's my slow time of year but when I have some excess I'd like to get a variety of bags from you for my girls and for me. Never knew how handy a bag would work for multiple scenarios.
The thing I did like about it was I could glass at further ranges then grab my binos and glass at close ranges to my sides without removing from the outdoorsman.
Picked up a shooting bag from @hereinaz . It's super light, is great for shooting off rocks, tree limbs, shooting off my tripod and I used it for glassing this year. I've always used the outdoorsman adapter but I really like this system as well. You need a tac table for your tripod for this to...
I've hunted antelope for years with a 300 WM and people were surprised they didn't blow up. 🙄 obviously over gunned but I think in Africa people carry a rifle for the biggest animal they want to kill. Plus, who wants a duiker charging. 🤷♂️
You'll definitely need more knockdown power for sure. Probably some authority as well. Add these two together with wallop and you'll have the perfect recipe!
Had a nightforce nx8 2.5-20 and I tried to like it but it was difficult to get behind. Glass was great, turret clicks were great but the eye box was horrible. If I ever buy a NF again it'll be the nxs 3-15. I just didn't do enough research and really didn't know what I wanted. I recently got a...
I was in the market for a new scope so I started my research on here and ended up with a Trijicon Credo 3-9x40 mil holdover. I absolutely love this scope and plan to top my kids rifles with Trijicons. I can't remember a specific thread or if there is a specific member wrote a review but my...
I got the carbon a couple years ago and have been pleased with it so far. Worked up an antelope and an elk this year. Used a Case medium stockman on my bull last year because I somehow left my other knives at home. The Case did a great job as well but I had to use all three blades.
I typically process myself but I occasionally use the same butcher for elk. He also does our pigs, we buy all our beef from him and chicken. I don't tip him.
Missed a nice buck at 400 with a vortex hst about 4 or 5 years ago. Have no idea where they hit but missed bigger than chit. Tried to dial it in back at camp but the elevation turret was so stiff I couldn't adjust it. Sent it back to vortex for repairs then sold it and bought a nightforce. About...
Always wondered why you post on any of the smaller caliber threads? You obviously don't/wont hunt with them and you don't really contribute anything constructive to the discussion. I guess you just like people to know how manly you are cause you shoot a 500 nitro express. Why don't you start a...
