.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

Exactly! We all know what bullets perform well so who really gives a rats ass about math formulas.

    Kimber .308 84m

Take it to a local reputable gunsmith. Idiotic they won't work on it with a muzzle device. They probably know everyone puts a muzzle brake or suppressor on so then they don't have to fix. My wife has the 6.5 84M and I love that little rifle.

Help me pick a caliber out!

Wallop = Authority x velocity/.30 cal. This calculation gives you actual wallop. This is the most accurate way to determine cartridge size for armor plated bull elk.

    SD Whitetail?

Kind of what I gathered. Not really interested in west river so I'll probably look to Nebraska . Thanks for the info.

Wonder when part 3 comes out? Maybe it'll be how rss rifle setups don't work on big game or if you ain't stealing bucks you're not a real hunter.

    SD Whitetail?

I'd just like to hunt for another whitetail buck beyond what I can hunt here in Montana. Hunted a place in Nebraska back in 07 which was just a trespass fee. I can't seem to find any info on that place anymore.

You got so lucky to punch through that armor plating with your piss ant rifle. Only 7mm and bigger will kill elk.

    SD Whitetail?

That's what it looks like. I looked up draw results but hard to see if leftover tags are available

    SD Whitetail?

Was recently through SD and got to thinking it might be fun to hunt whitetails on the east side. Reading the regs it looks like NR can buy a license after all the residents draw. I couldn't find any info on odds of being able to pick up an east river buck tag. Is it a total crap shoot or is it a...

    Form struck someone’s nerve

This latest podcast was tough to listen to. The dude is dug in and doubt he'll open his mind to different ideas. Why he's taking such a stand is beyond me. Wonder what his Rokslide screen name is. 🧐

You'll probably be surprised how many people hunt with a .223 then.

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

That's a stud buck. Congrats! Looks like it was a square on frontal shot?

Horses in the rut develop armor plating. Something to take into consideration

Every group imaginable is full of sheet. In this discussion I think jvb may be referring to the 223 thread.

    Form struck someone’s nerve

I think he mentions something to the sort that guys shooting small calibers aren't being honest. Small caliber hunters loose more than they admit or maybe he thinks they really aren't using small calibers. Not sure but at the end of the podcast he mentions how this data can only be gathered by...
