So what do you guys think about the new Black Gold Dual Trac just released yesterday? Anybody get their hands on one yet? I've always been interested in the two up pin concept, but not a huge fan of Spot Hogg so never gave theirs a try. I'd like to see a custom BG in two green pins instead of...
Just curious if anyone out here is shooting the Mathews TRX 34 this year? Looking for a kind of crossover 3D/hunting bow and the specs on it really make sense for what I'm looking for. Watched a few Chris Bee vids on Youtube on his, but always good to hear some real life feedback as well.
I'll just echo what everyone else above has said. I shot the GT PP arrows for a full season. The shafts themselves I had no issues with. It was all the component bullshit that I got sick of chasing around. I build my own arrows so to me it's not the same as having to run to a shop all the...
I don't want to derail this into a discussion about the Remedy, but I'd be curious to know your thoughts on that bow as well. Just too slow for your liking? I can't find one locally to shoot but I've been eying a used one up as well as maybe just going back to a Traverse.
Anyone want to talk me out of the LWCG 20" compact sticks with cable aiders before I pull the trigger? They seem to check all the boxes for me. Compactness and stackability being near the top.
I agree 100% with this. The Evolve cam has been a dream to shoot for me (Mach 1) at 80% letoff. I'd highly recommend at least trying one out. I leave mine set at 65 and it's been a great mix of speed and smooth.
I check there every other day or so. They still seem to get a pretty hefty premium on resale. Hopefully that adjusts as folks are willing to trade in for the anticipated 33" 2022 version of whatever new is coming out.
Anyone else not a fan of the switch weight cams, though? I miss my Traverse. Still on the lookout for a new one. The concentric cam on the Traverse just felt a lot better to me than the sw.
There's a Vortex rangefinder in Wyoming on the side of a mountain somewhere just in case someone runs across it. Reaching for it the next day and finding nothing was a cool feeling! (Facepalm)
I had a burst fracture of L4 when I was 21. Rods and screws in L3 bridging to L5 to take pressure off the fracture. They went in six months later and removed the hardware. But, I was 21, it was the year 2000 and I'm certain that there's probably a host of different treatment protocols...
These boots fit my foot so well I'm tempted to buy another pair and only wear them about a month before my next hunt, but at this point my experience is they're pretty much disposable after a month or so. Such a shame for a boot that feels so good.
Right....hard to say I guess. I didn't find a single point of water intrusion in either pair of mine. Just one day my foot was damp and that day wasn't too long after I bought them unfortunately.
I believe so. Salewa Mtn Trainer Mid GTX. He didn't specifically mention "Mid", but that's the version I had.
I still have both of my pairs, but I just wear them when I know for sure the conditions will be dry. Still fit perfectly.....just can't justify buying another pair when I know they...
I've got two pair of these boots and experienced the exact same thing. It's a shame, too, because they fit my foot like a glove! Truly the most comfortable boots I've ever put on my foot.
