I don't see 2k being a deal breaker for those that want to put in for special. Everything else in life is skyrocketing so the price hike isn't surprising. The reality is that 2k doesn't go very towards anything anymore.
I'm no expert or even local to where the wolves are in MN, but I spend a couple weeks there every year and I've noticed the same thing. There are a lot of deer in the small towns at dawn/dusk, but there's no animals outside of town. We spent several days grouse hunting this year in what would...
This is something that I noticed in the release video. I only saw 1 or 2 clowns that looked happy to be doing what they were doing. The rest of the CPW looked like they knew it was mistake.
Here in MN we have more wolves than all of the western states combined. Add northern WI and MI to that and then multiply the government numbers by 2, that'd probably be fairly accurate count here in the north.
CO will be much like MN with it's liberal policies. There will likely never be a...
Not sure if this is useful to anyone, but I've started carrying this in one of the side pockets of my Marsupial so I always have a light. USB rechargeable, tiny, very bright, basically bomb proof.
Don't they also sponsor a lot of the people using them and winning? High level sponsorships sell a ton of scopes.
There are plenty of scopes out there that are capable of playing the PRS game, and plenty of guys that are capable of winning regardless of what brand they're running. Those lists...
Most guys have no issues shooting light rifles off packs at typical hunting distances. I practice to 400 pretty regularly and farther when possible, and have no issue shooting animals that far. My last antelope was off my pack and bino harness at a touch over 400. I shot quite a bit before this...
I’ve considered this. A friend had a lab flush a bird his GSP was pointing and he said his dog was never the same after. I’d like both but it would be tough.
Do those of you with 2 or more like to stick with the same breed? We recently got another lab but I've thought of adding a GSP or wirehaired griff. Primarily hunting pheasant and grouse with occasional waterfowl.
I'd have a hard time spending that much on anything on that list but would probably go with the Kimber. At that price point I'd probably look at the Seekins or obviously building the beloved Rokslide rifle.
Smacking it with a hammer and "shocking" it loose typically works better than a breaker bar. I was under the impression - and I may be wrong - that most of the internal wrenches were designed to take the damage before damaging the action.
I think the Vortex warranty and customer service really forced the other companies to step up their game if they were lacking. Seems a lot of the companies that had bad reputations for service are trying much harder than they used to.
