I was just researching for camping transportation, but either way too much for me.
Yea, I didn't think about the storm stirring things up. Reminds me we'll need to make some of those sifters. The found a few this past spring in Savannah and were excited.
Yea, the Freedom is booked up for...
The vestibule area doesn't seem as big on the xdome or arca dome as the xmid 2 has. I could be wrong just looking at the videos.
I like my xmid 2. If I upgrade it will be to the xmid 2 dcf.
I agree, it's almost no difference, except like some mentioned they are not licensed. Just require the same guide license for the service.
I think some of the issues that could arise are reasons many people won't find these services useful or the people doing it won't make enough money to...
We usually strap in an extra orange vest on our pack backs. I wish pack makers would sew in a velcro on/off orange panel as a standard.
I think CO is the only place we hunt that requires a hat and I know we probably don't meet the exact reg every moment of the hunt either from a hood or pulling...
That must be the one I see videos of people feeding them and grabbing their arms?
I may look for a guided trip for bone, tarpon, snook, any recommendations welcome. I do mangrove and red snapper often from MS, but tarpon is definitely on my list.
couldn't get another arrow in?
the bull i shot with exodus just started walking and i was able to get another through him and send two more arrows down the mountain before he fell over. This was all in under a minute or two tho.
Dogs are 10x better trackers than people. Always try to get a dog if you think you made a good hit and can't find it.
Any tracking groups in NM, AZ? I tried to find one in 2021 in NM with no luck.
Agree with the above. You're not going to gain something without losing something(bigger head=more cut, but less pen and accuracy)
I opt for more accuracy and pen and I'm shooting IW now.
My first bull was shot with qad, he didn't go far. If I wanted more cut than a small 2 blade, exodus would...
I have two of the igen4500df(dual fuel) in my 5th wheel. I can put them in parallel and get 6000w.
I've had them since fall 2021 and have ballpark 300hrs on them.
Haven't had any major issues.
I can't leave the batteries in or they'll drain and kill them.
The remote starts didn't work for...
The last whitetail I shot with a muzzy, I swore I'd only hunt with my bow. He was only 15yds away and I was on the ground. It just didn't feel the same with a gun. I'm probably lying to myself and I'm sure I'll still gun hunt some.
I think it really comes down to how much you enjoy archery...
eventually I'll go for a band saw, but don't have one currently.
Can't believe I didn't search for a "bone" blade. I looked over everything at Lowe's, but don't know why I never considered they made one specific for it. Also, the stainless solves the issue of paint so I won't have to sand...
We usually bone out meat for packing, but we lucked up on a recent hunt and got a cow elk close to the road. I took this opportunity to keep the leg bones to try for marrow.
I saw once where someone had cut them into disc and baked.
Without an actual electric meat saw what have you found...
Western Edge packs were the best I found for small kids. We have two and they've been great.
It's good to note on the boots. They have been a struggle to find for my 11yo, ended up with women obos.
