The glass is probably on par with a mid level vortex. You’re definitely not getting the ability in low light that a swaro offers. I’m gonna assume they’ll release some with a bigger objective soon though which would help close the gap.
Go find some tire chains after you pickup your car. They should be pretty easy to find for the common tire sizes that come on rentals.
Also reservations are garbage. If you have the time, try to time your pickup when there are the highest availability of vehicles. I would assume that’s like...

A lot of people love it, some people absolutely hate the way it sits as a base layer for some reason. It’s great for multi day hunts and doesn’t pick up your body odor like the synthetics do. I love the heavy layers as a base in cold weather.

Quick google search, there’s 15 million acres of BLM in California. Can we just have them carry 70ish percent of that load for their electric cars? Then the other 20ish percent can go in the area surrounding Portland and Seattle? I feel like that’s a fair compromise.
I’ll second some others here. If you have the spotter, just get a bino adapter for your tripod and you’ll be golden for this year. 15-18x binos are pretty awesome to have, but I’m still debating whether or not I like it in that scenario in place of a spotter or if I want to carry 3 optics….
