Hello - ended up not needing this for a build. Brand new OEM take off stock from a left hand Ridgeline. Weighs 28.5 oz without bottom metal. Great sporter stock that will work with Remington and Remington clones with minor work (easy work for a gunsmith). $450 shipped for the kit. Bottom metal...
Looking for a factory Christensen Arms short action left hand stock that someone replaced with aftermarket. Prefer the black with silver web or titanium with black web. Thanks
Looking for both a left hand long and short action stock for 2 builds I am doing. No vertical grip stocks - would like a nice monte carlo style hunter stock etc. McMillan, Manners, Grayboe, etc. Thanks
Wow that is awesome. Proof's website shows the 16.5" Sendero Lite at 2 lbs 4 oz. So if I can get a steel (fluted or not) at the same weight....no brainer for me. Even the regular Proof Sendero is 2 lbs 6 oz.
Hopefully Alamo has realistic weights of their APR contoured barrels at that length.

I will be using a McMillan hunter stock, Defiance Anti action, and 16.5" barrel......
I was going to go with the Proof Research Sendero Lite but now I'm wondering if it's worth the...
Yea I hear you for sure. The can won't be coming off in any situation though. I wear hearing aids and this setup is primarily to save what hearing I have left - shooting un-suppressed is not an option unfortunately.
Thanks for chiming in!
You know, I did consider 300 WSM but with ammo the way it is these days - .308 is just so much easier/cheaper to find and shoot. So I did take that into consideration.
16.5" on a .308 does seem shorter than the norm, for sure. I know people that take shots up to 400-500...
Hey all - could use some words of wisdom from the community.
Backstory - looking to do my first ever 'custom' rifle build. This will be as much of a one all be all rifle (yea yea I know it's never your only rifle) in most aspects. It will be used here in Colorado for elk, deer, and pronghorn in...
