    Anything by Cormac McCarthy. Big fan of Edward Abbey, Desert Solitaire being a favorite. Solace of Open Spaces is a great read. Watership Down also a classic.

    Unless you're inspector gadget, you aren't going to touch it at that yardage. Now, I give the kid a little leeway on the distance from probably being overly excited and freaked out. Wolves here in Wisconsin are a serious problem. Just add that to the list of animals our DNR has mismanaged.

    I've looked at the newer Ram's and compared pricing. Had Chevy's previously and never had good luck with the Ford's I've had experience with. The newer Outback's have also piqued my interest
