I'm surprised Sitka really wasn't mentioned. The fanatic set is exactly what your looking for, could also go incinerator. Is the a better looking camo? Not too mention the Sitka reputation that comes with the hefty price tag.
If you're going to be mobile, go with the artic shields. I have a pair of them I gave a buddy when I bought the icebreakers. Ice breakers are warmer, but I hate carrying them 1 mile on my pack. Artic Shield you wont even know they're there.
I don't think I would worry about a rifle with a 10mm pistol, as long as you trust your life with it. The rifle would just add more weight, and take up more room.
You are absolutely correct. You will probably have a draw length 30 plus inches, so that will immediately get rid of a few bows. I would look at reviews of bow shops around you. To get measured and know the setup you are going to want, you will want to find a good highly recommended shop, not...
For that price you can find a custom made, which is the way to go. Otherwise I would look for something like a SV30 steel. Benchmade, spyderco, too many quality brands to mention.
I would recommend going to shoot as many different brands and models as possible. What feels good for me may feel bad for you. I personally like obsession, mathews, and bear the best. I currently shoot an Obsession defcon 6.
I am already saving for a western hunt in the next 2 or 3 years. The hunt zones in PA are only a 4 hour drive for me, so it really takes no extra savings. I certainly wont miss the $35 a year on the lottery in PA, hopefully one day it will pay off.
Sorry to hear that. I too have a saint, he's only 4. Unfortunately its not a good diagnosis. Knowing how short of a life span Saints have, I would buy yourself some time and end his/her pain before it gets too bad. Good luck!
I would recommend a v6 f150. There's either the 3.5L or 2.7L. They are great trucks and sound like they will be perfect for his needs. Single cab will be tough though.
I was really just wondering if it was worth the time and money to put in for the lottery, or if I should just save that money to go out west. At $35 a year for the lottery for all 3 seasons, it sounds more than worth it to start applying now.
Has anyone hunted in the PA elk hunts? A buddy and I are going to apply for it next year, just looking for peoples experiences. Were you successful? Elk pretty prevalent? What unit were you in? What was the terrain like? And possibly most importantly, would you do it again?
Apparently you are forgetting that he was called racist when he shutdown travel to and from China. The likes of Pelosi and Cuomo were encouraging people to make no changes in their daily life. As for being wrong, he wasn't as wrong as the "experts" said he was. The virus was changing nonstop...
It's more the ammo you are shooting than the barrel length. If you want to carry a G26, get decent ammo and don't look back. Never having an issue with a bear, I would think you would want to worry more about penetrating the skull if one charges. Again with that, a decent 9mm round will have...
