I am looking at rigging up a stand up freezer with a controller to turn it into a fridge for hanging elk quarters. Curious if anyone has done this before and if the quarters would fit?
I would build a internal frame and then hang from there

Thanks for all the feedback and support everyone. I have been writing out the pros and cons of each scenario.
I think I will be ditching the night shift and trying to find a day shift role. Now the question is whether to stay with this company until a position opens or jump ship to another...

Is that just days or nights also? I have been on shift in the oil and gas business for 12 years with no burn out. I only started having no energy or drive since going to nights

I have been working this valley for a 2 days. I have called in 2 immature bulls and there is 1 bull that always bugles from the same spot but never moves from it.
I am assuming he has the cows and Doesn’t want to leave them. He is bedded on the north side of a large draw near the bottom of it...
I had a few bulls going this AM and one sounded deep and old like a mature bull compared to all of them. He bugled all the way in and chuckling them out walks the smallest spike ever….

The days are long. I leave the house at 5 am and get home at 7 pm. I only do nights once a month but it is for a 7 night stretch.
Over the last few years I have started to notice that I don’t get as...
Checked zero and it was good at 100 yards. Unable to take a long shot due to the range I was at.
So with the range finder not in line of sight mode and it using rifle mode which takes the angle into effect and spits out the correct yardage for the shot. I still got 7.4 moa on my dope card...
I have a 6.5 cm with a 20” barrel shooting factory 140 eldms. Zeroed for 100 yards. I verified my dial corrections out to 600 yards

Could parallax throw it off that much? My last scope never had parallax adjustment and I took many successful shots past 400

Dial for that distance was 7.4 moa. There was a possible tree branch but might be grasping at straws there or making excuses

I dialled for the distance. I am heading out soon to verify the scope is still sighted in but everything looks tight on it.
That’s what I initially thought happened but the caribou didn’t flinch or move at all. They all grouped up after the shot so couldn’t get a ethical follow up shot. We...
