I won’t miss the lower zipper access but will love the extra compression strap. Bottle pockets will be a nice touch too, interested to see how the xpac does up here in the PNW compared to the other bags I have.
I run G,R,Y,G,R. My older sight has G,R,G,R,G and I think I prefer that as my eyes don't like the yellow in low light conditions. I run .19 on the 1st 3 pins then have the last 2 at .10. I think though I may swap them out to all the same size. It's a great sight, you enjoy it.
I do the same thing. I only prime one vane at a time and have had great luck. I use the AAE package (wipes and primer) kit you can buy from Lancaster as well as the AAE glue.
What everyone taking with them in the backcountry to care for their optics? I don't wanna go over kill but need something better then my shirt or some lens wipes.
Thanks, Jordan
I was in your shoes a little while ago and decided to go with the separate range finder and binos. I went that way because I have not picked up a rifle in awhile and don’t plan on it anytime soon. I’ve pretty much committed to only hunting archery at this point. The Bino/range combo for me was...
Seeing if anyone’s interested in trading a medium LPP for a coyote brown half zip large Kifaru LPP. I need to go down a size. Half zip or full will work. Prefer coyote brown.
Skookum has out to 100 on the flat range and one of the walk through has a shot about that far as well. The members range is covered (the shooting line) and has lights so you can shoot at night or early morning. Broadhead pits out to 50 as well.
A few of you hit it on the head. I was a little concerned with the noise and it movement using binos in close vs a range finder. Leaning towards staying with a Bino and separate range finder.
