Yeah, same as above. Can’t replace boots on the ground but it can help guide where to start putting your boots on the ground. I also like adding waypoints to track what I’m seeing and lastly I love being able to quickly pull landowner info and add layers.
Yeah there are so many choices out there and a lot of good items. Are you rifle or bow hunting?
For whitetail I run the fanatic jacket and just added the stratus pants. I have merino base layers and normally wear an insulation piece under as well. I have been extremely happy with the fanatic...
I used the Moultrie Delta cams last year and added the Edge this year. The cellular switching was the main reason. I have been very happy with it so far. The cell service is 100x better and has definitely allowed me to place the Edge where the Delta didn’t work well. I’m going to add another...
I've had an original DR for around 8 years. I freaking love the tent. Still going strong.
There are a number of places to add lines if needed. It’s comfy for one person and has worked for my wife and I in the past.
I am not even close to an expert. Not even an amateur really, but I did just switch from the bag to some black rack antlers. My thought process is they’ll be louder and that seems to be the case testing them out around the house.
I personally wouldn’t try to shoot for a higher BS. When I’m hunting and hiking I cut my basal by 60%. I just make sure to bring plenty of things to treat a low. I’ve used a Dexcom for the last 6ish years and it is by far the best thing I’ve ever done. I also use the X2.
Please reach out to me...
I’ve really enjoyed my Zeiss Conquest 10x42’s. You can buy them used online for a little more than $500. Very happy with them. Switched from Vortex Diamondbacks.
Definitely appreciate the tip on the m150. I didn’t go the hang on route because I already have my lone wolf. Definitely wish I would have checked out ones with a shooting rail though. I did some initial searches but didn’t come across any.
The ladder stand obviously won’t have to be moved...
I’ve read through a few threads on ladder stands but don’t feel like I’ve seen any recent good advice on this.
I have a Lone Wolf Alfa 2 with sticks but was thinking about getting something that has a rest for rifle hunting. I don’t think a climber is going to fit the bill because of the trees...
I picked up the hoodie in L and I'm quite impressed initially. I normally wear a Patagonia R1 with a base layer underneath. This seems like it will be much warmer when sitting. Will have to test out the breathability when it's not 90 F out. I'll be using this with a Patagonia Cap3 long sleeve...
