Used my bow draw board to get a pull weight. Pulled with one hand and took a picture of the scale with the other.
With 2 hands and not having to hold a camera I was over 70 lbs... this is gonna be my new insert adhesive.
I have blue threadlocker. Put a light coat on a hit insert, Install, wait 10-20 minutes, shoot it. Let me know if I'm crazy.. I mean its working so far through dirt and hard bag targets.
If I remember tomorrow ill try to pull an insert out myself.
So I was making axis arrows with hit insert and didn't want to wait on the epoxy.
First thing I tried was super glue.... that sets faster than I can jam that in. Wasted arrow.
Then I looked up and saw blue thread locker. I knew it wouldn't set right away, but wouldn't take forever either...
Did 3 in a cimmaron this spring with a stove. One guy had a cot. We left some of our gear under our tarp. Could do 4 without a stove backpacking... just depends on how much room you need in the tipi itself.
Little sickness won't stop me from hunting. Crank some meds. Smash some rebull and run it till I cant or die. I'd rather die doing what I want than sitting in a chair, getting fat, and wasting a life away.
Really only take a picture to joke around or brag to the guys I fish with. Maybe 10% of the time. Animals, just depends on the animal really. But not much. People already know I'm the best, no reason to run it in.
I made 5 arrows in the last 2 weeks. I have 2 left. Shot the ratchet strap on my target. Snapped the arrow. Hit a hook on another one... bye arrow. Lost another one... bye arrow.
Then again I've got arrows that I've had for a few years. My point is based on two things. Depends on what you hit...
Jerky, porkrinds, venison meat sticks, gas stations subs, homemade sub/sandwiches, McDonald's breakfast fajita things. I have no shame in eating on the road, that energy will be used up easily once im moving.
For energy, Celsius energy drink. If you werent into coffee, and drank tea, you could...
After reading this, I think im the guy not to pick, lol
I have 0 friends and only 2 adult family members that hunt. 1 has the money and time but is out of shape and doesn't do hard work. The other is in shape but doesn't work and has no money, also extremely negative. Now, I'd take my wife but...
If you're solo I dont see why you'd need a tent with a truck. Make seats flat in back or pull seats and build a platform. Its got its own heater, electric. Insulation etc
Why would anyone refinance... unless they're debt rich. We saved for the last 2 years so we could lump sum payoff our loan.
We don't have the best things. We work harder around here to save money. My vehicle is 20 years old (baling wire will keep her going another year🤣).
My point is. If...
I never met a group of people more worried about themselves than hunters, myself included (but I'm getting better).
Why are you here.
Who told you, you could hunt here.
This is my spot
I've hunted here forever. Find another mountain
Then there's the lying about everything hunting related...
When I home schooled during covid, I looked up learning goals and followed a program to meet them. By the time the next school year was to start my kids were already meeting that end-of-years goals.
It was difficult for them at first, but after a few months in they were working less and...
