The Hunley! I had read about her, but seeing her after they brought her up from Charleston Harbor was amazing.
Some history. Clive Cussler, iirc, had a hand in discovering where she was...
I know guys that always bone out quarters, but a big ball of meat has challenges cooling and lacks structure for pack out. Less bones does mean less weight to pack. Boning also means extra time before getting it on ice.
I know guys that rarely, if ever bone out, but they will cut down the...
Meat care starts with recovery, which starts with shot execution, which starts with setup.
A long delay finding the bull in hot weather can put you behind from the start.
Bone in, take 2-150 qt coolers. You might have to bone at the truck if a really large bull, or not.
Bones do hold...
How have you lost weight to this point?
I went through a significant weight loss (80+ lbs ish) and lost muscle with it. Cut calories to 1600, worked out like crazy. Dumb way to do it (I know now). Ended up around 185 at 5' 8", but looking lean and not as balanced with muscle as I wanted...
The cotton trick works better on the traps with the yellow paddle, bigger pan for more access to the cotton.
Also, turn the trap so the trigger side is against the baseboard.
Just a suggestion.
Post a pic of your set up, i.e close up of the trigger and how it is situated on the baseboard. Examples attached on the cotton triggers. Anise oil can help but I don't apply it to all of them. Also, I'll set some unbaited (never had bait on them) and then some baited, typically a small...
For difficult mice that avoid food bait, I'll take a cotton ball and tear off chunks and roll them into yarn, then thread them through the holes in the plastic cheese paddle of the Victor trap, leaving the two tails sticking up as close to the trigger mech as possible. Weave them tight and...
Endurance was a great study on the fortitude of men. Incredible and miraculous feats of provision.
If you are a fan of the book, they located Endurance and there is video footage of her as she lies now, and footage of when she was trapped in the ice. Pretty incredible to view the vintage...
Hunt solo, mostly. I make sure I get my family time planned. I get a few weeks off, M-F is hunt time and I hunt hard. SAT & SUN, family time, no excuses. Gives me the rest I need.
Took 20 years to work out the kinks before the first bull elk was tagged, still working on polishing the...
OP, not sleeping well with sleep conditions that have changed (person, bed, place one or all different) is fairly typical.
If it's truly developing into anxiety, that's a different story. While what you are seeking might help temporarily, I'll make another, admittedly unsolicited...
Are these sized for wearing over trousers? Meaning if I normally wear a 36" waist will the large suffice if wearing over hunting pants while glassing? Or do i size up to XL? Thanks.
OP, I'm not a sparky. Dug some ditches and pulled some wires as an "apprentice" one year in college for summer work, but that didn't make me much more than labor! LOL.
You mentioned flipping on and off breakers, with no luck. You also mentioned no tripped GFI outlets. Did you by chance try...
I do wish these new phone releases weren't the size of small tablets! My Samsung S10e is the perfect size of physical dimensions and I'm not an Apple fan.
