Anyone have insurance on their firearms? I've read that homeowners insurance will cover some costs in the event of a fire etc, but it's not clear to me how much that would cover. And at what point would it make sense to get additional coverage? Any experience or tips are appreciated.

4/13 I contacted my ffl, He shipped my can to TBAC on 4/15 for inspection. I also contacted TBAC about converting my can from DT to CB while they had it in the shop, they said this would be easy to do, and they would call me when my can got to their shop.

Hell maybe a software glitch will work in my favor. I'm praying for a large increase in preference points to roll in around 3am, that's my only hope of pulling an AZ tag.

I'll post and update as things change. I'm anxious, curious to see how long others are taking. The NFA tracker website shows average approval time for a for 4 trust paper is currently 32 days for check to cash, 203 days for approval, and an additional 21 days for stamp in hand (~8.5 months)...
I think it's stupid that we have to have a form 4 ATF background check and pay $200 for a tax stamp and wait 9+ months just to buy a suppressor.. But if someone were to cut corners, and obtain one without doing all of that, and the feds showed up at their door, would we expect them to get off...
