    I have a 20 year old Cabela’s made by weston and it's been problem free the whole time. It grinds about 300# a year. One of the newer designs that can double grind efficiently would be a time saver.

    When stepping up to beef, a saw would be great for making fast work. I have been beef free since 93' but once my elk streak finally ends.... I will cut and wrap my own. I enjoy knowing exactly what has happened to my meat.

    Polishing the OD is easy. Doing so without wiping the roll marks is another subject. I'd suggest a quick bath in dawn dish soap, media blast and hose it with cerakote h and toss it in the oven. I'd not waste my time trying to slick up the rails. The bolts tend to have belly and the action...
