    Kuiu super down vest

I just got the large vest and i am 5' 11 185 lbs with a 42 " chest. the vest fits close but i still have room for a thick merino or polartec shirt like an R2 underneath. It doesn't pull or get tight in a glassing type position.

    Hill People Gear (Mountain Serape)

You can have them overstuffed sized up whatever you choose. They also have a winter wren which is a 20 degree bag.I'm getting a rock wren shortly just hoping for a sale.I figure if i use my Kuiu superdown pants and jacket it will go below 30.

    Hill People Gear (Mountain Serape)

Have you considered a Exped Dreamwalker or Feathered friends Rock wren for multipurpose use. These are sleeping bags that can be worn as jackets for glassing and camp time.

    Puffy Jackets!

Thanks i am currently using the spindrift and guide jacket.I'm looking to dump the guide jacket as it is too heavy and does not provide enough warmth.for the weight.I figure the SD and my windshirt should keep me warm glassing and around camp.I just wear merino when i'm on the move.
