Both pairs are in excellent shape as I only worn them 1 or 2 times.

I watched a guy shoot a mule deer while wearing hey dudes and blue jeans. packed it out a mile in a pillow cases and a Walmart backpack.

I have a vortex crossfire 2 on my sons .243. I won it at a raffle. It’s been fine so far. Retails new for less than $200.
By rifle season the bucks are usually pretty lean. I guess they burn a lot of fat off during the rut. This my sons buck skinned. Now if you shoot a big doe during rifle they usually have a pretty thick layer. I don’t have a pic of my buck skinned but I shot him Nov 3rd and he didn’t have much...
What species, state and weapon? I’m from PA strictly hunting whitetails here and surrounding states. Big difference in tactics than hunting in the west for elk, mule deer and antelope. Either way and just get out in the field and scout/hunt.
