Think I am up to 6 or 7. First one I bought was a stainless T3 lite in 270 for $300 brand new at Sports Authority in Denver. That gun has been in several stocks but rides in a T3x takeoff stock and has killed easily 20 big game animals. Only non tikka big game rifles I have now are nice...
Have a brand new 7 PRC proof prefit for a tikka. 22”. All original documents/packaging but I did cut it out of the shrink wrap to weigh it. 2lbs 6oz. $790 shipped PayPal FF, check, usps MO.
With trigger, mag, “bottom metal”, a stainless action I weighed a few years ago was 2lbs, 2oz. Original T3. Not T3x, but would expect them to be with an ounce or so.
I just got a proof prefit 22” 7mm prc barrel and it 2lb 6oz. Actually weighs the same as a 22” tikka lite 270win barrel I had lying around. Surprisingly light as I was expecting 1/4lb heavier.
I have a Leupold VX6HD 3-18x44mm FireDot in like new condition. Was mounted and went to the range 3-4 times is all. CDS has not been used. $1350 shipped PaypalFF, check, usps mo.
Did anyone happen to weigh the proof prefit barrels before they assembled their rifles? Or even have completed rifle weights? I am looking to build a 7mm prc tikka and would prefer a gun right about 7lbs to end up right at 8.5-8.75lb total weight.
