I am curious on the logic of how us hunters printing our own tags will speed up the draw results? I understand the delivery of said tag is more or less immediate now and certainly reduces that lead time but don't understand how it speeds up the draw.

I do not own a pair of pac boots but would love to try some Hoffman's. My feet freeze when hunting late season and world use the pac boots when the snow falls and temps drop. They would be awesome for late season whitetails in the stand or those miserably cold mtn hunts.

@Goatie @EcoastDG did you guys get the chambered barrels and spin them on yourself or have a gunsmith do it? Is it just as straight forward as spinning on the barrel?

your odds for drawing will go down each year as point creep goes up. 380 is the unit every person applies as the permit knowing they won't draw to get the point and hunt the general tag.

Ideally I would be looking for a soft shell type and not puffy pants but might have to consider them. My legs don't seem to sweat much so preferably avoiding puffy pants would be one less thing to pack.
