Finally found a bull that wasn’t busted up from the rut this morning. He was too hard to resist at 415 yards. 145 LRX out of my 20” 7 SAUM. Realized this was my first bull shot with a rifle in 6 years!
I just used a 145 LRX on a bull this morning at 415 yards. First shot in the lungs was a pass through. He stood at the shot and turned quartered to me pretty hard, so placed the another shot at the point of the shoulder and brisket. Went down after that.
H4831sc, MV of 3021 out of my 20” barrel.
I would imagine this is another 700 clone, so any stock for a 700 SA should work. I'm a fan of the Manners LRH. You can probably find them with the flush cups installed already.
My left toe is currently numb from my last hunting trip. Heading out for another week tonight, so likely won’t get any better for a couple months.
Only happens with my Crispi boots. I probably should try another model. My danners do just fine.
I use the Hornady comparator and feel it works well for its purpose. The tough thing is trying to be consistent with it - I measure about 5-10 times and get an average.
You do realize you still have your balls after the procedure right?
Unreal to think you’d rather potentially have your wife die during a high risk pregnancy/delivery than have a couple of snips.
I’m planning to get “pussified” in the next year.
Garmin all the way. Hated my Labradar- missed shots despite the external recoil trigger and all the other tricks. The app was terrible as well.
The Garmin has ran without a hiccup since day 1.
