    How close is too close?

    Personally I wouldn't be ok with another tent that close, especially if it's from the same outfitter. I'd be brining a backpacking tent just in case, that way you can spike out a night or two if needed.

    Welcome! No sub forum for SML's. I put together a SML a couple years ago using a remage barrel from Arrowhead. I haven't shot it past 200 yards but it's very accurate. Currently shooting 275 nsr's from Arrowhead.

    Have you thought about an insulated hub style fish house? The biggest downside is they are heavy. Nordic legend has stove jacks already installed. For me it fits the bill between my wall tent and my backpacking tent.

    Anchorage ground taxi question.

    I asked the charter carrier, she said use a taxi. She didnt know for sure if a normal taxi would take antlers though. My hunting partner is a know shipper, so will be sending the meat/ antlers home using Alaska Air cargo. Thanks !

    Personally, I'd call local LE and report them. Lazy people drive me insane. I work in LE, issuing citations for operating a motor vehicle in a prohibited area never gets old.
