    Swarovski to release 14x NL’s

I've pre-ordered a NL 14x52 and bino adapter stud. Will they ship separately, as you have them available? Or, will Outdoorsmans only ship once the order is complete?

    Sold Cooper Firearms, 375 H&H, Model 52 - Excalibur

Yes. The 375 H&H cartridge has a long history of effectively killing Brown Bears. Pick a well constructed, controlled expansion bullet, and you’ll be successful. Cooper Firearms have a reputation of quality and the test target is a good indication of the rifle’s accuracy potential.

    Sold Cooper Firearms, 375 H&H, Model 52 - Excalibur

The rifle was sent to Vais Arms, who threaded the barrel 5/8x24, for a Vais muzzle break. Which is also included with the rifle.

    Argali Talus Tarp

It’d be nice if Argali would add 2 more guyout points to the 8.5’ sides of the tarp. As opposed to only having one guyout point between the corners. I currently have the DST (both versions; Dyneema and Nylon), which are configured the way I’m describing. The extra guyout points have been very...

Anyone else lacking confidence in their Tipi?

https://armysurpluswarehouse.com/tent-stake-9-in-gi-aluminum-used-orange-6-for-8-95/ These stakes work great. Relatively lightweight, affordable and very secure. Definitely no reason to stack rocks on top of the stakes!! Pound them in until they’re even with the ground…or, below ground...

    Masculinity and Caliber Choice

From my perspective, hunters generally suck at shooting from field positions and spend too much time talking about cartridge selection, as opposed to bullet construction, based on the game being hunted.

    Hilleberg Tent Input

The Terra handles high winds really well and is incredibly comfortable for 1 person. In cold conditions, gear intensive, cold weather hunts. The Nammatj 3 GT, which I have also used extensively, would also be great for 2 people in the conditions listed above.

There’s more to frame design than physical weight versus durability.

    New Packs from Kifaru 2024

Yes, the curvature of the frame is similar to the semi curved stays. (Listed by Kifaru as ‘Flat/Normal Composite Stays’ on their website) In comparison to the composite stays and thicker HDPE frame sheet, of the Tactical Frame. The ARK has a more dynamic, live load feeling, while carrying...

    New Packs from Kifaru 2024

Considering all of Kifaru’s legacy pack bags fit on the ARK frame, it stands to reason, that it’s essentially the same height x width. As I’ve used the pack I haven’t felt that the depth is much different. The stand off from the padding in the suspension is about the same and the curvature of...
