Yes you can cut that much off. The rear sling stud is just held in with epoxy. Mine screwed right out. I don’t use a sling. -

Not sure yet. I do worry, but carbon fiber should be stronger than aluminum pillars or blocks. I did not see torque specs, but I will confirm before final assembly. Very little flex. -

I love the feel of it. The stock feels narrow/slim (that’s why I took a picture from behind to give everyone a view)and just fits me better. On top of that it is a pound lighter than the McMillan. Stockys said that you do not need to bed the action, and it does have a snug fit. -

The barrel nut? Yes, it needs a rub or 2 with sand paper to free float it. Other than that a great fit. -
