Our packs also work for some gals, especially for 50 pounds or less. Same materials and quality as other brands but narrower and lighter. At her height, a 22" backboard would be just right, and we now have a 4000 inch bag. Both should be up on our website in week or two.
Good luck with...
Votes have been tallied and certified. First prize goes to spdrman, second to TBossHSauce. I will reach out via PM to make shipping arrangements.
Thanks to everyone for participating. I see all these photos as evidence of folks raising kids right--getting them out of the house and away from...

In German and Ukrainian country in ND: knoephla soup, brats, cheese buttons aka perogies, and borscht soup.
In Norwegian country, lutefisk (only if you're of especially stout constitution) and lefsa.
All are available in grocery stores.
Like most outdoor pursuits, it's fun when you're young, but it's for the young. Eventually the body parts wear out, and most guys end up needing something less strenuous to keep paying the bills. Luckily (sometimes I don't think so) I picked up survey-related drafting and project management...
Thanks. Our packs are sized mainly for kids and small adults. At 5'8" I'm about maxed out with a 22" frame, which is sufficient for 95% of what I do. For me it's high enough to get a little lift but short enough to avoid most overhanging veg.
I and a few surveyor friends use a chest pack I...
MT PLS here. My first survey job was in high school in Plains, and I worked for the USFS through college, so I'm very familiar with the terrain and habitat you're working in.
I used to use my Kifaru duplex frame with various bags and attachments, both homemade and production, but I now use one...
2-pole setup. Poles are 1" conduit with 3/4" inserts in lower halves to fit into the upper halves, plus standard exterior conduit couplers, for strength. It's for tailgate camping, of course; too big and heavy for packing. I haven't had a chance to try it in the wind yet, but I'm confident it...
Slopes and those stake loop extensions make it extra difficult. Try using the stock stake loops to get the hang of it.
I've found that stakes in the extensions need to be about the same diameter as the stock loops. Extensions help with height but make pitching more fussy.
I can never get...
Did you look around East Glacier? I can't offer any particular advice on the east side as I always pass through between Kalispell to Great Falls. However, anyone familiar with the area would probably advise you to avoid Browning. Cut Bank is 35 miles further east and perhaps less....exciting...
I still use my 788 in 243 for deer and antelope. Bought used in 1984 from the local gunsmith with the first money I made working at a grocery store. Over the years I upgraded the scope from fixed 4x to 3-9x, refinished the metal with bead blast, epoxy bedded the lug, and kept on killing stuff...
I think you can get in from the east without a permit, but double check.
If the crowd I witnessed on our trip last August was "normal", I'll never go there again in peak season. Complete zoo. The only parking was 3-4 stalls in one lot low on the east side. We intended to do some hiking...
