    .243 got it done for years on multiple moose, a few dozen caribou and a bear once. 100 grain Remington core lokts. All ranges sub 200 yards, most sub 100. I think the farthest any animal ever traveled after hit was 50 yards tops.

    I have been let down twice now by inflatable sleeping pads on sheep hunts. I started carrying old faithful, Thermarest Z Lite SOL. Not as cushy for sure, but it ain't gonna deflate.

    I have tried grizz a few times in the past and it does not tantalize my pallet. I may of tried this one if he had blueberry butt. He did not though and was actually pretty lean, not much fat on him compared to the other bear shot at camp this year.
