Looking for suggestions on clothing to keep mosquitos, etc at bay while in hot and humid places. Going to Malaysia, Bali, and Thailand at the end of May and half of June.
An overlooked issue with fitting rifles for women is scope height. The go to seems to be low mount rings but I found, for my wife and daughter, that medium height is a better starting point for easier site picture acquisition.
political talk show satellite radio... from all sectors of politics. I find yelling at the radio really helps to keep me awake. :) That an reflecting on the shear stupidity of some of the people that call and "debate".
Touch bigger than the 6.5 but here is the result of a 45-70 with 325 gr, at about 40 yds. He didn't go far. :)
The ELDX is a good bullet for distance. My daughter got a Dall ram at 350 last year with my 6.5 CM, one shot, about 5 steps.
Will be 61 in May. Pretty sure I'll pull the pin this year, somewhere between June and Nov. Fed fish cop for nearly 32 years and still field active. Mostly because that's where my heart is and we don't have enough guys to do the job here. Got side lined by major shoulder surgery this summer-...

A little October coho fishing in Haines, AK with a buddy
And a few weeks ago a 3 day outing for bison.
Heading to warmer climes next month...
Going on 33 years as a federal fish cop. One of the few with my amount of time that is still field active. lol
Got to do some pretty cool stuff over the years, including international LE work with the USCG, but it's time to start being a trophy husband and living off the wife. :D Prob pull...
Have never shot one over bait but the last spring bear we ate was fantastic. It was bio estimated at around 20 years old - a big boar- and you couldn't even smell the meat when you held it to your nose.
You can wrap the base of the tree with thicker chicken wire and that will either deter or at least slow them down. I did this with some polar they were trying to knock down around my garage and greenhouse until I got my lethal options engaged.
Had one in 2019, a week before I was supposed to be sheep hunting. 57 years old and had just finished changing the tires on my truck. I thought I had pulled something in my left shoulder/chest area except it kept getting more painful. We're about 20 miles out of town so wife calls 911 and says...
The "ArriveCan" app is no more... if that's the one you're referring to. The worst road, at least on the Canadian side, is the section from Haines Jct, YT to Beaver Creek. Or the North Klondike to Dawson City
