Switching Releases
I switched to a wise choice two years ago, I hunt with it vs index. I would agree, its not going to solve any problems of target panic (if there is). I will add reps with a back tension in the mix to keep things honest. -

More changes to Montana hunting on the horizon.
Agree, if people use glass and are willing to work for it. Most guys arn't willing or don't know how much it takes to get to the bulls. Saw bulls every day in rifle this year even with lack of cold/snow. Did bump into a couple guys in the field throughout season. Have drove thru breaks...- bow_dozer

9mm for bear protection, even grizz!?
After we got a bull down, we came in the next morning with shotgun/338. Still gets the nerves going, but i will say more horsepower aids a little comfort than my 10. -

If a Griz wants ya and its your time to go, he will run thru a 10 just like he will a 9 IMO. Whatever you carry, practice and be proficient. Have it become muscle memory drawing your weapon. Have been with some people who didn't even have one chambered... What's the point of having a gun? -

2022 Bear Success Thread
No stache here... Gave this dude a hair cut/new piercing the week before. Felt good to get another try and some redemption. Took him 6 days to return to the original hillside. -
