The 22 creedmoor thread
Jealous of you guys prepping the 22's to use for hunting season. I am headed to wyoming first where they don't allow them, so have to bring the 6mm and not sure I will have time between wyoming and idaho to swap the 22 barrel back on! -
Muzzle Brakes?
There are definitely better brakes for recoil reduction but if you aren't seeing impacts past a few hundred yards with that set up, definitely need to work on shooting form and maybe turn down your magnification. SRS probably makes the best combo of weight/recoil reduction. Area 419 and APA are... -
Is a 5" suppressor perfect for the 22CM?
I have an ultra 5 that I thought would be perfect for my 18" 22CM and 6CM, but it sure leaves you wanting more in terms of recoil/noise reduction. It is a big difference when comparing it to a 6-7" can. I ended up ordering a scythe TI. Not sure what I will do with the 5. The only thing it would... -

I don't think the 6 creed is going anywhere with hornady seeming to back it. -

If you are going that light in bullet with the 6.5 case, may as well take advantage of BC and do a 6 creed with 108 eldm's. -

Do you adjust MV or BC value of a ballistic app when field proven the ballistics?
This is what I came to ask about... What does a guy do in this situation? I know this is an extreme example, but you have a spread of .368 - .411 from one end to the other, so quite a bit in between to choose depending on your twist rate and MV.
