    Solar vs generators??

    Upgrading to 6v batteries in series will be a big improvement. Was going to say going to a real deep cycle battery will make a huge difference. I had two L16s in series in my little trailer and I kept it charged with a 100w. I still kept a little generator to top off if needed.

    Still planning on grabbing mine next month. I’m still gathering parts and deciding exactly what I’m going to do with it. Pretty much figured it isn’t coming together before their year’s season so I’m muzzle loader hunting again.

    I have a 22 3/4 ton tradesman and the mileage is terrible. I get single digits as soon as anything is hooked to the bumper. This probably the worst I had seen it hauling a 16’ cargo trailer on logging roads with a hydraulic hose press and various fittings. So nothing heavy duty. Regular driving...

    Idaho 3200’. Most of the ones I see have a greenish hue to them. Dropped down in a canyon last summer and this one was really brown.

    My daughter came in one day saying the cats had a snake. We thought must be a garter till wife and I went out and found the cat booping a rattler on the head just off the back porch. Then it was a show grabbing dogs and getting the kids pulled back. We’re kind of high up for them at the house...
