They do make a rain set now, have not tried it, but might, because I like their stuff.
On the coast, any DWR coating is completely useless, it beads off some water until the first patch of salmonberry you walk through, then it’s gone forever. I have never had any articles of clothing that would...
Well hot damn!
Crazy they are that cheap, one of the best all around comfortable harnesses
I couldn’t take it, I ordered one and a rangefinder pocket for my brother, haha
As the title says, camofire has the OV gen 2 for $54.50, and if it wasn’t for the SG sentinel, the gen 2 OV would be my choice, it’s a great harness, and the price can’t be beat
You are certainly onto something here. Communication would be a big improvement. The biggest issue with that is communication is becoming lost in text, it’s like people are terrified of talking to people in person, and terrified of confrontation of any kind. I’m not talking about aggressive...
In all seriousness, there is a fine line between uniting and policing ourselves, we aren’t all going to agree all of the time
People hunt for their own individual reasons, some love the process, some want something to post on social media, and everything else in between
There are all walks...
I think it’s more that too many people took advantage and ruined it for the few who should have had it. There are a lot of entitled self centered people out there that don’t care, which creates changes in the rules because people are incapable of policing themselves… can’t be mad at the state...
If you lose inserts in your target, it seems like future arrows are drawn to that exact spot too, and shooting that target gets more expensive all the time
I have one insert in my rhinoblock right now that I can’t find to cut out, and I don’t even want to shoot that target anymore
I decided...
Are you shooting a recurve? Cutting arrows down in increments is pretty much unnecessary with a compound, make sure you aren’t close to a weak spine, cut as short as you’re comfortable with and then start tuning
I have as well, but I have lost some inserts with cool flex. Kimsha has been great so far for me… hopefully it stays great, because I can’t permanently glue anything in with my current program.
The kimsha is fairly low temp and very sticky, so if it holds up long term, it seems to be the...
It’s certainly not a problem, I have shot 100’s of arrows with hits with all hard impacts on either rock hard desert ground or sage hunting sage rats, hits with no collars, and the only thing that has happened was a little brooming on the end, and blown out nocks, but don’t bend inserts or break...
I just got a pack to try, and just got the AAE bitz knob that does 5 fletch, I have a fresh dozen shafts and I am going to try the IW (3 fletch of course) and airazr pro in a 5 fletch with this dozen. I assume both will work well
Think I’m going to order a pack of vpa 3 blades to see if there...
I have never used the venture or had one in hand, but since discovering the kifaru gun bearer, that’s the way I like packing rifles(and my bow)
The universal should work fine for you, and if you’re right handed, left side carry would probably be best. I like my barrel isn’t hanging up in the...
