I prefer to clear it from my system before the hunt. Mostly to avoid getting dehydrated.
I remember (30 years ago) being told to drink more water when on creatine. That isn't always an option on some hunts. Almost ran out of water last year after a long hike in. New area, set up spike camp at...
Multivitamin
Herbal altitude pills (Solutude)
Enduro for non caffeine energy
BCAA powder for recovery
Slumber for recovery and help falling asleep
Advil PM or Aleve for headaches or joint/muscle pain
I also stop taking creatine about 1 month before any backcountry hunt.

Anybody have significant dialing experience with the the 3-9x40 AccuPoint?
Sirui VA-5 or Outdoorsmans Pan Head. Both work well for me (10x42 Binos and a 65mm spotter). I have been using the Outdoorsmans more often due to size and weight.
Same here. Hard pavement hurts my joints. I will be 48 this year. Rowing, treadmill, elliptical, stair climber and stadium work all seem like better options.
I can do the basics (sight-in, sight tapes, basic install of components...etc). Thankfully, I have a good pro shop nearby. When it comes to tuning and maintenance, this is one area I choose to let the experts handle.
