Vortex binos

The Razor UHD 12X50s are a really decent option and are better outside in hand than they have been reviewed as. They are heavy though. Not as good for run and gun. Great off of a tripod.

Larry, I would buy multiple copies of a book that you might write about how you were an industry innovator and designer who had all the great ideas that were then copied by copycats. You were always about three steps ahead of the rest of the industry.

I watched your review and I had some questions. No. 1 was your stc Swaro a demo? I say this because I have had a lot of time to look between Leica, Swaro, Zeiss, Kowa(People bring them in) Spotters and I believe that the Little ATC is a game changer. It might be that we really got a good one...

Tripod Options Similar to Slik 624

Leupold Pro compact tripod with a ball head is pretty darned good too. The new Vortex summit 2 tripod needs a better panhead but the outdoorsman's minipanhead is freaking money on it. The Sirui 024X is pretty good too and would work with an 80 mm. The Vortex Summit 2 will work with 85 mm as well.

Gear list for Dall ram trip

Don Martin at Ultima Thule Outfitters has a very good track record with bowhunters. It takes a while to get on their list but it would be worth it. Thor Stacey also does bowhunters.

What happened to Vortex?

I have lots of experience with top shelf glass and own many top end binos and spotters. The Vortex UHDs are a very decent option as binos. I have both the 10X50 and 12X50 UHDs and they are decent. I prefer my 12X42NLs but the UHDs aren't bad.
