I
I think I have a lens shade for the mark 5 in my truck. When I get a chance I’ll go grab it to see if they are compatible. I didn’t even think about that before I posted
Off the shelf then PRC. Heck, even if you reload the PRC would still be better when it comes to brass. I saw some 300 WSM at the local sportsman’s the other day and I can’t remember the last time I saw it on the shelf before that.
I have one for my 223 and my 6 creed. Probably going to get another for my 6.5 PRC. These stocks are great and everyone that has shot my 6 creed wants one.
Watch some of Steve’s videos with S&S Archery on YouTube. He brings the absolute bare minimum and does so successfully. I Think his base weight for his pack is under 20lbs without food and water. That’ll get you started on where to cut weight and what to leave at the truck.
I’d get a second barrel for your tikka in a 6 creed cut down to 16-18”. Mine is 16” and was shooting factory 108 ELDMs at 2680-2700. I started reloading the 109 ELDMs for it and am now around 2900fps and will be taking it to Wyoming in October. I haven’t shot any coyote with it but I cant...
Carbon copy 223 with two rokstocks! Tomorrow my 223 and 6 creed will be identical once I put in the new maven scope. I’d order at least one stock now if you want it by hunting season and then everything else when you pay off your truck.
To the guys out east offering up whitetail spots, which state allows for the most whitetail tags for NRs? I’m good with just doe tags. I just want to take my kids hunting as much as possible.
