I think you just have to have the paperwork for your suppressor with you and make sure they are legal to use in that state. I carry both my physical paperwork and pictures of it on my phone
So far I'm liking the one I have for rifles that you wouldn't be packing to the elk mountains. It's also on 22LR and 223 that used for varmints and target shooting

Ready for an absolutely shameless ultra lightweight tripod plug? Our Ascent is a carbon tripod that only weighs only 3.3 lbs. The cool part is it saves you even more weight because takes the place of multiple pieces of gear by screwing apart into trekking poles, big bipod, a tent, and a super...
Well said! Just looking is casual glassing, and that's fine, but using a tripod is intentional glassing. You would use a combination of styles for different animals and terrain
Hey Roksliders! I’m back with another installment of the “1 Thing” theme, this time focused on the rapidly expanding popularity of SUPPRESSORS. I think most of us make a mistake over and over again. We go on a hunt, but don’t make the effort to think critically about 1 thing we learned and will...
Especially on public land. Does this ever backfire on you when you play it slow and another hunter comes busting in? Are there any circumstances when you would not play it slow?
Nothing ruins a hunt more than finding out the person you've just committed to spending a couple days with gives up really easy or is more about drinking beer and eating donuts
You're right on the money. Since I started using our Sentinel tripod with the ability to easily swap between Optics and rifle, I've been more comfortable in the field. Obviously I'm biased, but it's less about the brand of gear and more about being able to keep everything set up within arms...
I believe ya. I also grew up among ranchers. These guys didn't have many guns or even fancy firearms, but they used them frequently. That familiarity made them surprisingly successful!
