    Yeah I don’t have any experience with suppressors at all. But brakes help tremendously. 300 NMI with 245’s has a lot more recoil than my 7-300 with the 180’s as well.

    Oh sorry. They both have the same 4 port muzzle brakes on them. And all shots were taken at 10X on the scope.

    Did some testing with a few positions to see recoil and impact differences between these two guns of mine. 11.6lb 6 PRC. 108 Berger’s at 3200fps. 10.5lb 7-300 NMI. 180 ELDM’s at 3120fps These are the max yardages that I would prefer to shoot from either of these positions in the field. I...

    I love hearing about all of them! Definitely a personal interest in the heavy bullets, but also like all the lighter weight bullet info being shared as well.     I’ve heard countless reports of 180 hybrid success stories. My personal friend has over 50 big game kills with them, and zero hiccups. Definitely seems an outstanding 7mm killing bullet.

    ELD-Ms Work.

    I tried ELDM to get a little faster upset of the bullet at the lower impact velocities. And they’ve been good at closer ranges as well.

    That’s a bullet I wouldn’t mind trying for sure. Looks like it’d make a nice sound channel by design. It’s actually longer than the 180 ELDM. I’ve never looked into the scenars at all actually. Appreciate the info! I’ll have to check them out.
